Public settings - eg. Wythenshawe Hospital public art commission, managed by LIME for the South Manchester University Hospitals NHS Trust.

‘Crown’ 

Exterior roundabout 
piece. Circle of four 
6.5 ft high figures. Commissioned by

Leeds Nuffield 
Hospital.

‘Interdependence’ 

Wall relief commission funded by the Arts Council
of Ireland and the Cedar Foundation Belfast. For the Foundations’ training centre for people with cerebral palsy. Seventeen man, woman and child relief figures in cold cast bronze. Installed 2002

 





‘Five Core Values’ Corporate commission by Vertex (part of United Utilities) managed by Paintstop, for new Customer Care Centre staff restaurant, Knowsley. Cast Fibre Glass figures suspended from ceiling to floor. Each figure 2.5ft square. Installed 2000


'The Swimmers'
Commissioned by Knowsley Borough Council for new Kirby Leisure Centre. Series of five swimmers doing the butterfly . Suspended in the main corridor near the swimming pool entrance. Installed 2007

‘Hanging Loose’ Commissioned by South Manchester Health Trust an managed by LIME; an indoor piece consisting of thirteen resin figures (2ft long each) installed in a spiral shape, suspended in the entrance area of the newly built Acute Unit at Wythenshawe Hospital, 2001.

     


Water Bearer - Courtyard garden feature at the new Women’s Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit at Blackberry Hill Hospital, Bristol. Commissioned by Avon & Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust, managed by Willis Newson. Installed Autumn 2006.

 

‘Strength’ small sculpture for use as an ‘Acts of Achievement’ award 2005 commissioned by the Black Arts Alliance to celebrate Black History Month. Presented to the Director of the Bridgewater Hall, Manchester. Image of ‘Strength’ also used for Acts of Achievement publicity. Oct 2005

‘Jester 1’ & ‘Jester 2’ - Riverside Plaza, central Manchester
Fibreglass freestanding sculpture 6ft high Commissioned by Bruntwood property developers, managed by Paintstop for exterior courtyard at Riverside Plaza, central Manchester. September 2000.


‘Acrobats’ - Two larger than life sculptures commissioned by Bruntwood (property developer) sited in Riverside Plaza, Manchester. Managed by Paintstop. Jan 06.

 

Temporary Commissions

‘Multi Faith Snowflakes’ Dec 2005. Series of large scale snowflakes and an alternative Xmas tree, featuring symbols representing the six key religions of Liverpool. Reflecting the cultural diversity of the city and celebrating festivals of light. Installation commissioned by Liverpool Culture Company for the ‘08’ Place in the city centre. Created by Faith Bebbington assisted by a team of artists using mixed media.

 

‘Womens Art’ project for Refugee Action’ Oct 2002 to Jan 2003. Series of workshops at Blackburne House with group of asylum seekers. Created a wall relief sculpture incorporating two large shoes, symbols and text about their feelings. The piece is permanently sited on a wall in Hope Street, the street connecting Liverpool's two cathedrals.

 


‘The life cycle of a Snowdrop’ Dec 2005. Temporary installation created by Faith Bebbington and Liverpool Lantern Company, for Court Hey Park’s Winter Celebration at the National Wildflower Centre, Knowsley on Merseyside. Lanterns depicted snowdrops from bulb stage through to flowering. Made from bamboo canes, tape and tissue paper. ‘Tree of Life’ was created earlier for Liverpool Hallowe’en Lantern Carnival.
