Giant Bee

Bee sculpture close upFaith has created a giant bee sculpture and worked with local school children to create giant flowers to accompany the bee installation. The 6ft bee sculpture is located in the heart of the Grosvenor Shopping Centre surrounded by flowers created by local schools Boughton Heath Academy and Barrow Primary and Mill View Primary schools. The #BEEfriendlyCHESTER campaign launched on 27th July with a series of family-friendly events to educate shoppers and city visitors on the country’s worrying decline in wild bees.

Shape Open 2019 Exhibition

Balancing Act small sculptureFaith is exhibiting Balancing Act a small sculpture in this year's Shape Open 2019. The exhibition explores the theme ‘In Circles’ in the context of disability. Disabled and non-disabled artists were invited to submit work for Shape Arts’ seventh annual Open exhibition that ignites debate and discussion on disability from a wide range of viewpoints. Exhibition runs from 6th - 19th September 2019 at Nunnery Gallery, 181 Bow Road, London, E3 2SJ


The Hart goes up north

Hart sculptureFaith is delighted to announce that The Hart will feature in the Lakes Alive Festival happening from 7 - 8th September in Kendal, Cumbria. In late 2018 Heart of London Business Alliance partnered with Veolia and Westminster City Council to commission The Hart, an illuminated sculptural installation designed and created by Faith, which features over 2000 plastic milk bottles collected by West end businesses to make up its coat. Having helped raise funds for St James Church, in the heart of Piccadilly, London last Dec-Jan 2019 The Hart is now on the move, up north.

River Festival 2019

The Runner 7 life size sculptures run on water

The River Festival is a much loved part of the Liverpool cultural events calendar, and each year, visitors’ flock to the World Heritage Waterfront to be part of this special, family friendly weekend on 31st May 1st and 2nd June 2019. Faith was invited by Culture Liverpool to feature an artwork in the Changing Tides programme at this years festival. The chosen piece is The Runner a sculpture sequence of seven life size figures depicting the act of running. With fantastic technical help from Blue Point Marine the sculptures actually managed to run on water!
