Horse Power

Faith has created a permanent site-specific external artwork, which celebrates the heritage of traditional horse drawn boating. ‘Horse Power’ is a commission from the Canal & River Trust, for the National Waterways Museum, Ellesmere Port. The design involved researching the museum archives and collections, plus liaising with the Horse Boating Society to see horses pulling narrow boats on our waterways. The life size horse horse sculpture (16 hands high) was installed on 17th April 2013 and is now on permanent display.
